Calypso is a dance done to the rhythm of Calypso
music (that originated in the Caribbean). Tango (Sire's name) is a dance. This was last litter Tango sired; so one of his last offspring has part of her name in his honor. Irie is the Jamaican Patois (Caribbean) word that means, "alright". Also, 1: powerful and pleasing; 2: excellent, highest; n 3: the state of feeling great. 4. the greetings, "hello" and "goodbye". Our Irie Daze is always in a happy, sweet mood or in an irie daze. Irie Daze and Ms Calypso Breeze goes really cute together! Calpyso, was a nymph from greek mythology. Nymphs are generally regarded as divine spirits who animate nature, and are usually depicted as beautiful, young nubile maidens who love to dance and sing. Thought about naming her Calypso Rebel; a "Rebel" is a synonym for outlaw, but Callie is not a 'Calypso Rebel'. She is a Breeze; "Rebel" has a negative connotation. Like to think of the "Ms" part, as in honor to her Dam, The Outlaw Josey Wales. |
