Flowers of Capitol Reef
(Some Utah wildflowers I have not yet photographed)Green River
Jim rode 106 miles on the motorcycle (from Torrey UT to Green River). He loaded it up for the rest of the drive to Moab and Canyonlands.
Storm!
The girls stretching their legs while Jim loads up motorcycle in a truck stop parking lot.
La Sal Mountains in the distance...
Canyonlands National Park
Notice the STORM in the background...
Long winding, climbing road to assent to the Canyonlands section called the "Island in the Sky".
Big thunderstorm passing through.
Look for the rainbow. In the distance, behind the clouds/storm are the La Sal Mountains.
The "Orange Cliffs"
The juniper are knarled and twisted, living in this harsh environment.
Jim dubbed this the "Chicken Wire Bush"
Grand Viewpoint
